How Everglow Was Born
Mark, the guy who started Everglow, always battled with dry skin and that annoying, brittle hair thing; he just figured, oh well, must be the weather or maybe just my crappy genetics. It wasn’t until his daughter started complaining about her own itchy skin after showers that he finally, finally took it seriously. She was only nine, nine years old, and it just didn’t seem right that she was already dealing with irritation after something as simple as, well, taking a shower.
Mark’s naturally curious, a nosy bastard, I guess, so he started digging. After a few weeks of research—and way too many late nights reading studies he barely understood, trust me—he found out just how much chlorine, heavy metals, and other random contaminants in the everyday tap water could be messing with your skin and hair. Worse? Most of the shower filters he found were either cheaply made, a pain in the butt to install, or, and this is the kicker, didn’t actually filter much at all. What a scam.
That’s when the lightbulb hit him: What if you could make a simple, affordable, and, crucially, actually effective shower filter? One that people could just trust, you know, without all the useless marketing fluff and BS promises.
So, Mark teamed up with some engineers and water specialists and got to work on prototypes. They tested different filter materials, adjusted the flow rates so showers still felt nice and strong, not weak and pathetic, and even made sure the design was easy enough for literally anyone to install in minutes.
After more than a year of testing (and a few annoying setbacks along the way—like the first version that slowed the water down to a sad, pitiful drizzle), they finally nailed it. The first Everglow Shower Filter was simple, tough, and did exactly what it promised: made water better for your skin and hair. That’s all.
Mark named the brand Everglow because that’s the feeling he wanted people to get—not some quick fix or a temporary solution, but a lasting, internal change. A way for people to feel genuinely comfortable in their own skin, every single day, maybe.
