How Everglow Was Born
Mark, the founder of Everglow, had always struggled with dry skin and brittle hair, but he figured it was just the weather or genetics. It wasn’t until his daughter started complaining about itchy skin after showers that he began to take it seriously. She was only nine years old, and it didn’t seem right that she was already dealing with irritation after something as simple as taking a shower.
Mark, being naturally curious, decided to dig a little deeper. After a few weeks of research (and way too many late nights reading studies he barely understood), he found out how much chlorine, heavy metals, and other contaminants in everyday tap water could mess with your skin and hair.
Worse, most shower filters he found were either cheaply made, difficult to install, or didn’t actually filter much at all.
That’s when the idea hit him:
What if there was a simple, affordable, and actually effective shower filter — one that people could trust, without the marketing fluff?
Mark teamed up with a few engineers and water specialists and started working on prototypes. They tested different filter materials, adjusted the flow rates so showers would still feel strong and refreshing, and even made sure the design was easy enough for anyone to install in minutes.
After more than a year of testing (and a few setbacks along the way — like the first version that slowed the water down to a sad drizzle), they finally got it right.

Mark named the brand Everglow because that’s what he wanted people to feel — not a quick fix, but a lasting change. A way for people to feel comfortable in their own skin, every single day.
